Live Event Painting
Live event painting is our signature offering, and for good reason! With this service, I arrive to pain on site, interacting with and entertaining guests as they watch a real work of art come to life in front of their eyes. It will ensure that your wedding/event has a truly special feature, and it results in you being able to take home a precious, personalized heirloom.
Rose Package
The Rose package is an acrylic painting on a 16x20 inch gallery-stretched canvas. The base price of $1,500 includes 4+ hours of painting at the event.
For an additional $750, you can request studio touch ups, which amount to an additional 10+ hours of painting time.

Pearl Package
The Pearl package is an acrylic painting on a 18x24 inch gallery-stretched canvas. The base price of $1,850 includes 5+ hours of painting at the event.
For an additional $925, you can request studio touch ups, which amount to an additional 12+ hours of painting time.

Diamond Package
The Diamond package is an acrylic painting on a 20x24 inch gallery-stretched canvas. The base price of $2,100 includes 6+ hours of painting at the event.
For an additional $1,050, you can request studio touch ups, which amount to an additional 16+ hours of painting time. Please note that, at this size, the studio touch ups are not technically required but are HIGHLY recommended.

The art of your love should reflect your own story and fulfill your vision! To accommodate this, Love's Palette works to customize your art as much as possible and encourages anyone with a specific vision in mind to discuss customizations with the artist. Listed below are some popular customizations to consider and inspire you!​
Add a Signature Cocktail Menu
For $100, you can have a personalized work of art as your cocktail menu. This comes standard with 2-4 individual watercolor paintings to go alongside personalized cocktail, mocktail, or canape option descriptions. These can be images of the drinks or food, themselves, images of pets, or items related to your theme! This item comes with a simple frame in a color of your choosing to fit with the wedding decor.
Add Another Person
Each painting package comes with the main couple in full detail, but with this add-on, detailed guests can be added to the live painting! At only $100 per person, this is a great way to make sure someone special is in focus, or to allow a family member who has passed on to be symbolically included in the day. I recommend capping the additional guest count at 2 if you are not including studio touch-ups, but more can be added when a painting package includes studio time or is commissioned.
Add a Frame
Each painting comes on a gallery-stretched canvas, so does not necessarily require a frame. However, if you would like our team to have it framed for you, using our expert knowledge on color-theory and appropriate balance and composition, we are happy to have it framed for you to add that extra oomph to your final piece! Cost is variable depending on frame chosen, painting size, and personal preferences chosen by you.
Add a Message
When requesting painting services, you can ask that a (short) secret message be added to the canvas under the painting. Although it will not be visible in the final piece, this message can serve as the symbolic foundation of your love story. This add-on is entirely free!
Add Furry Friends
Add a pet or creature for $50 more per animal in your live or commissioned painting--the easiest way to make sure your full, furry family is part of your day!
Add Some Sparkle
Add some sparkly accents using yellow-gold, rose-gold, champagne, and/or silver metal leaf to your commissioned painting or to a live painting with studio touch-ups. Although the amount of leaf used will affect the final price, this service starts at (and usually stays at) $100. Make your painting stand out with some glam!
Add a Venue Portrait, a Wedding Dress/Suit, or other Details via a Watercolor Painting
This add-on allows you to get a watercolor painting of the venue, itself, your wedding dress or suit, a bouquet, or another feature of your choosing for an additional $50 per painting/item! We are also happy to have this printed on table markers, thank-you cards, etc. for an additional fee.

Guest Sketches
$660/hr at the event
$300/hr in studio
We charge for this service by the hour (rather than, for example, number of guests or number of sketches). Each sketch takes between 7-12 minutes to capture the guest (or guests, more likely--we tend to get couples and families in one sketch more often than singular guests) as a line art sketch with gestural colors via watercolor paint. With that in mind, you are welcome to book us for any amount of time as long as it hits a minimum of 3 hours.
The hourly rate covers the cost of me (the artist) and my artist's assistant/partner who coordinates (and frankly charms) guests, gathers photos, etc. so I can focus solely on drawing for the duration.
Our current rates are $660/hr at the event. However, if you would like additional sketches after the event, we are happy to complete them in studio at less than half the price ($300/hr), after which we can ship them to you or you can pick them up from our studio in DC. We also charge travel fees, where relevant.

Commissioned Paintings
Commissioned paintings are done entirely in studio, and as such, can be made using more time and with a bit more creative freedom. This service allows you to choose bigger canvases, add more pets, people, metal leaf, or details.
In addition, please note that commissions need not be based on wedding photos! Let your imagination run wild, and I will make sure it comes to life.
Because commissioned paintings are highly variable in their content, composition, and materials, the prices are likewise variable! Please reach out to us to discuss your vision, and we can provide a quote to match.
